According to the attached expert opinion, the small collection was already in the sights of one of the public collections in 2021, with the expert emphasizing that several items \u201cwould have a place in the archives\u201d. The documents provide a valuable addition to understanding the contemporary society of the market town of Magyar\u00f3v\u00e1r and the history of the Magyar\u00f3v\u00e1r estate. Among them, for example, we find two marriage contracts, a will, and a document about a mass foundation. Also interesting from a historical perspective is the document dated August 24, 1809, according to which the market town took out a loan of six thousand forints from one of its citizens to cover the costs of providing for the invading French soldiers. The documents are in good condition, and five documents also have well-preserved seals imprinted in red wax.
