EverGens Europe Ltd. has joined the mission of the Iratmentő – Hungarian Heritage Archives Foundation by providing pro bono support to help introduce the Foundation’s work to Hungarian descendants around the world.
Under a cooperation agreement signed on August 25, EverGens Europe will promote Iratmentő and its mission entirely free of charge among its international clients and community, helping the Foundation reach families with Hungarian roots across the United States and around the world.
EverGens Europe specializes in Hungarian and Central European genealogy, archival research, ancestry documentation, and Hungarian citizenship support. Through this work, the company regularly connects with families whose ancestors left Hungary and Central Europe generations ago.
For Iratmentő, reaching these families is especially important. Historically significant Hungarian letters, photographs, documents, and family archives can still survive in private collections abroad — sometimes more than a century after they left Hungary.
Through this cooperation, the Foundation hopes to reach families who may unknowingly be preserving valuable pieces of Hungarian history in their own homes and encourage the preservation of these materials for future generations.
The initiative forms part of EverGens Europe’s social responsibility commitment and involves no commercial compensation.
Dr. Bence Olivér Erdős, Managing Director of EverGens Europe, also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the IRATMENTŐ Foundation, reflecting a shared commitment to preserving Hungarian historical sources and making them meaningful for future generations. Sometimes preserving one family’s documents means preserving a piece of Hungary’s history.
