Our service aims to provide you with a basic overview of any old document you may have—primarily those written in Latin or archaic Hungarian—that you send us digitally. To begin, simply fill out the contact form below and upload clear photographs of the document(s).

This service is free of charge, but to be eligible, you must confirm that: The personal information you provide is accurate. You are acting as a private individual (not on behalf of a business or institution). The document(s) you are submitting are not held in a public collection (we are unable to provide assessments of materials stored in public archives). Please ensure you photograph both sides or all pages of the document(s)—even any blank ones. We kindly ask that the images be of sufficient quality to allow the text to be read and enlarged (photos taken with a mobile phone are perfectly acceptable, as long as they’re clear and legible).

Our expert review will include: Identification of the type of document, its date, a brief summary of its content, and recommendations for proper storage and preservation.
